About the Talk

Tan Bee Thiam is an educator, a film historian and filmmaker. He has produced several films that have been showcased at various International Film Festivals. He is the founder of the Asian Film Archive and has worked with UNESCO on the preservation of the world's audiovisual heritage.


In February, Bee Thiam talks to us about why he makes films and how keeping film in our conversation helps keep our history alive.
